I worked at Mac Products Inc. from 1993 until 2010. In my time
there I was responsible for the electrical design and testing of
pressurization plants and heat exchangers used by utilities for
circulation & cooling of dielectric fluid within high voltage
underground transmission & distribution lines.
This included the design of control panels and sequence of
operations, specifying and approving parts for bills of
material, as well as carrying out the programming of PLC
controls for new projects and retrofit applications.
I was also in charge of designing the optional HMI & SCADA
systems and writing and maintaining a proprietary communication
program for secure control and remote monitoring of our
equipment
As the company grew over the years and new staff was added, my
scope expanded to include the mentoring, training, and assisting
of young electrical engineers in their day to day duties and
field assignments as well as supervising shop personnel assigned
to active projects.

details about the systems and projects that I was involved with
over the years. |
